Creative arts is mandatory for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.
Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.

Performing arts
In parallel with the school's outstanding academic focus and achievements, music, arts, drama and public speaking, environmental education and sport programs are integral to providing our students with we believe is a rich and extremely educational program. Our curricular and extra-curricular opportunities are designed to cater for students with all levels of ability, but also offer pathways for gifted students to excel.

Kindergarten to year 2
K-2 emphasis is on participation, interacting with each other and exposure to a broad range of disciplines within the arts and sports developing their awareness and affinity for their creative and sporting sensibilities.
Year 3 to year 6
Years 3 - 6 students build on this, acquiring skills and gaining confidence. Students learn to understand the importance of team work and challenging themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Students then build resilience and integrity, gain a sense of achievement and are able to express themselves in different ways.
Public speaking/debating
Quakers Hill Public School has an established and highly successful public speaking and debating program for students in the primary school years. The program aims to develop advanced oratory skills, logical argument, reasoning and the capacity to develop a well crafted argument to develop and extend the talking and listening aspect of our school literacy program.

Choir
Quakers Hill Public School offers an infants, junior and senior choir program led by talented teachers.
Our students are provided with engaging repertoire and regularly perform at both school and regional choral events. The choir program is open to all students from beginning to experienced students K-6.
