Western Sydney Aerotropolis Competition

Students from 6V, 5P and 56B participated in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis competition sponsored by the Liverpool City Council. We were asked to create a sustainable and innovative Aerotropolis based on the Western Sydney Airport being constructed in Badgery’s Creek. The focus questions were, “How will an airport of the future operate?” and “How would you build a sustainable airport?”. Various students were allocated different roles such as designing, building, agriculture, sustainability, music and scriptwriting. Students used Minecraft and code builder to create and code efficiently over Term 2. This project involved researching, planning, producing and evaluating our products. So much hard work went into building our worlds and showcasing the innovative ideas we had all in a two minute video. We are extremely proud of our end products.
