Book Week
Book Week is an exciting and much-anticipated event at QHPS that celebrates the love of reading and the wonderful world of books. Each year, students, teachers, and staff come together to honour stories that inspire, educate, and entertain. One of the highlights of Book Week is our Book Parade, where students and staff dress up as their favourite book characters—from classic heroes to modern-day favourites. The parade is a joyful spectacle that brings the whole school community together, with students proudly showcasing their costumes and sharing the stories behind their chosen characters.
Open day
Open Day provides families and community members with the wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant and welcoming learning environment we offer. As you explore our classrooms, you’ll witness engaging lessons and innovative teaching in action, bringing education to life. The day is filled with creativity and excitement, highlighted by a lively Creative and Performing Arts assembly where our talented students showcase their skills through music and dance. Visitors can browse the Book Fair, discovering a fantastic selection of books that inspire a love of reading. To support families further, we offer informative parent workshops on key school priorities. Open Day is a celebration of our school community and a chance to see firsthand the enriching experiences that make our school a special place to learn and grow.
