Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.

We do this through:

The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project is a whole-school wellbeing initiative that explicitly teaches students practical strategies to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Through age-appropriate lessons focused on gratitude, empathy, mindfulness, and emotional regulation, students develop resilience, confidence, and positive coping skills that support learning, relationships, and lifelong success.

Therapy Dog

Our therapy dog program and Resilience Project provide a unique, nurturing approach to student wellbeing, helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. These highly valued programs build resilience, confidence, and emotional skills, giving families confidence that their child’s wellbeing is a priority alongside academic success.
